Yoga enthusiast since I was 16, I received my RYT 200 certification in 2018. I started my yoga journey when I watched a yoga video my father gave me to help manage my stress. The video worked for me, and I have been practicing ever since. Asana (physical practice), meditation, and breathing exercises are necessary tools for a heathy life. These are the tools I teach my students when they take my class. Yoga teaches us to focus on achieving our higher goals, how to rest when we need it, and how to challenge ourselves in a healthy way. When I am not practicing or teaching yoga, I am a graduate student who loves to travel and enjoy the great outdoors.
